Gold Guardianship Service Contents

Emergency Service Emergency Service

  • During the student's stay in the UK, we will handle all legal and medical-related matters on behalf of the student. If the child feels unwell, he or she can arrange to see a doctor or dentist.

  • Visit schools and provide real-time assistance in emergencies (such as sudden serious illness or other unexpected problems). And notify parents as soon as possible.

  • Provides 24-hour emergency contact number for students, parents, host families, and schools.

 

Transportation Arrangement Travel Arrangement

  • Airport pick-up and drop-off arrangements. Complimentary round-trip private car transfer service between the airport and school.

  • Transportation arrangements to and from school and homestay (note: the above pick-up services are provided by taxi drivers or homestay families, and the required fees will be deducted from the deposit fund). Conduct annual enhanced DBS checks on host families and drivers on behalf of parents.

  • Book air tickets and confirm seat.

 

Finance Assistance

  • Open a dedicated bank account and monitor student finances (each student is required to prepay a reserve fund of £1,000 to cover holiday accommodation, transport costs, etc.) and provide parents with bills each term.

  • Assist parents in managing students' pocket money.

 

Accommodation Service 

  • According to the wishes of parents and students, we help students arrange suitable host families for the holidays. All host families have DBS criminal record certificates and relevant recommendation reviews. (via AEGIS training)

  • Students maintain real-time contact with their host families before and during their stay to ensure their safety and comfort. Communicate feedback to students and host families.

  • Standardize boarding and accommodation standards for homestay families to ensure student satisfaction. (Three meals and leisure activities)

  • Arrange safe and meaningful extracurricular activities during the boarding process to enrich children's holiday life. (Students voluntarily participate in small sports activities, dinner parties, visits to museums, famous attractions, etc.)

Life Support Service Life Support Service

  • 1-1 guides students and parents to prepare visa applications before going to the UK, prepare materials required for customs entry and study abroad luggage, and precautions for coming to the UK. (The 1-1 video will come with a student manual)

  • Accompany your children to register for school, go through registration procedures and get familiar with the dormitory and campus.

  • Closely follow up on children's living conditions and assist with various daily affairs. Provide timely psychological counseling to ensure the healthy physical and mental development of children.

  • Assist parents in communicating with school teachers, including translating school materials and accurately conveying school and teacher information.

  • Participate in parent-teacher meetings on behalf of parents and provide accurate feedback to the school (translated into Chinese written documents and provided to parents) and parent opinions (translated into English and provided to the school).

  • Sign documents on behalf of parents, such as medical confirmations.

  • Visit your child at school regularly.

  • Life monitoring teachers regularly communicate with students by phone or video and provide timely feedback to parents on their children's physical and mental conditions.

  • Complimentary one-time accompanying service for parents during their stay in the UK (such as school visits, etc.)

Academic Support Service Academic Support Service   

 *RIEC’s special service project, academic supervision teachers are all overseas Ph.D. or above.

  • Doctoral teachers hold one-on-one academic seminars (video lessons) once a semester to promptly discover students' weaknesses and generate performance-improving plans and study plans suitable for students.

  • After the 1-1 academic seminar, parents will be given timely feedback on the students’ learning status.

  • Doctoral teachers provide students with free ability and interest tests to help guide students in course selection and determine professional development directions.

  • Doctoral teachers assist with high school applications, including school and high school course selection and interview guidance (1-1 video lessons).

  • Doctoral teachers assist with university applications, including school and major selection and interview guidance (1-1 video lessons).

  • Complimentary high-quality undergraduate application document services (resume, CV, personal statement PS) (responsible by the doctoral program application team).

Others others

  • Assistance with student visa and renewal applications.

  • Assist students with travel arrangements to and from other countries.

  • Accompanying interviews for new school applications, etc.
